Join Prep Chorus

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

  • When and Where

    The CCC Prep Chorus will rehearse on Thursdays from 4:15 PM - 5:00 PM at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts. The complete singer calendar can be found below.

    The Prep Chorus performs at the winter and spring concert.

  • Who

    This group accepts enthusiastic kindergarten through second-grade singers from the Merrimack Valley Region. Auditions are not required. Singers will learn to:

    - Sing with their head voice

    - Accurately match pitch

    - Sing with excellent tone quality and breath support

    - Receive feedback and adapt to cues of a conductor

    - Demonstrate positive and productive rehearsal etiquette

  • What

    The CCC brings together young singers to:

    - Develop vocal skills and technique

    - Build musicianship and ensemble skills through diverse repertoire

    - Promote personal expression and growth

    - Academic support: tutoring is available before our weekly rehearsals

    - Perform for audiences at the CCA and in the greater community

    - Incorporate fun and community building

Registration Information

  • TBA for the 2025-26 Season

  • We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture Program.

    EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders will receive a 50% discount on singer registration fees and concert tickets. Non-CCA performances may be excluded. Ticket discounts are limited to the singer’s immediate family.

    When registering, please indicate your desire to participate and upload a picture of your EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card. Your registration fee will be reduced by 50% and we will share a discount code for concert tickets.

    If you are not a cardholder, but require financial aid, please contact us.
