My child looks forward to every session and has grown so much in confidence and skill since joining. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a high-quality choir experience for their child!

Third - Seventh Grade

  • When and Where

The Chelmsford Children’s Chorus rehearses on Thursdays from 5:05 PM - 6:35 PM at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts. The chorus performs a winter and spring concert at the CCA and schedules additional performances in the community throughout the year. The complete singer calendar can be found below.

Upcoming and past performances can be found here.

  • Who

The CCC accepts dedicated third through seventh-grade singers from the Merrimack Valley Region. Auditions are not required, but singers should be able to:

    - Sing with their head voice

    - Accurately match pitch

    - Sing with excellent tone quality and breath support

    - Receive feedback and adapt to cues of a conductor

    - Demonstrate positive and productive rehearsal etiquette

  • What

The CCC brings together young singers to:

    - Develop vocal skills and technique

    - Build musicianship and ensemble skills through diverse repertoire

    - Promote personal expression and growth

    - Academic support: tutoring is available before our weekly rehearsals

    - Perform for audiences at the CCA and in the greater community

    - Incorporate fun and community building

“This chorus has exceeded our expectations. It’s hard to believe this is the first year. It’s been a wonderful experience working with Mr. McGillicuddy and Ms. Robertson who are wonderful leaders and conductors. They bring fun, passion, and excitement to each rehearsal and performance, and are continuously instilling the love of music in our children! We feel so fortunate to be part of CCC and this wonderful community!!!”
